Come and join us with Recorders of all ranges, descant, treble, tenor and bass. Players need to be able to read music and have basic skills in playing recorder.  Our aim is to enjoy playing music in two or more parts hence the name of the group is Recorders for Pleasure!  At the same time we hope to encourage each other to make progress and become more skilful. We are starting with some Welsh melodies in two parts. After that we will add to our repertoire according to the interests and abilities of members. 

We will meet first and third Thursdays in members’ homes from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

I am offering 5 free recorder lessons to beginners, the new to playing either Treble, Tenor, Bass or Descant. Even the more competent player is welcome! As your Recorder Adviser, I am aware that many people join to play recorder have not been playing for several years, if any, and I am here to help you get started or develop your ability with the recorder. I want to assist your group leaders with their aims to have everybody included in making music together.

I am offering five individual recorder sessions on Skype to individual members of any u3a, to help you enjoy making music with your instrument. I will accommodate your day/time needs as best I can and the lessons will be an hour per session.
